A contoured edge at the distal palmar crease preserves 90 degrees of palmar flexion and unrestricted finger movement during wear. The shell uses open-cell urethane foam bonded to a lycra outer surface, balancing breathability, cushioning, and moisture management. A circumferential proximal strap anchors the radial stay firmly in place for reliable thumb immobilization.
