Hemp Animal Bedding

This bedding is made entirely of hemp hurd — the soft inner core of the hemp stalk — grown and processed in Virginia. Nothing is added: no chemicals, no artificial fragrances. It suits reptiles, small animals, poultry, and large livestock alike. Hemp hurd can absorb up to four times its own weight in moisture, which helps keep enclosures, coops, and stalls dry. The hurd is screened and cleaned so fine dust stays to a minimum, and it naturally holds onto ammonia and other odors, helping habitats smell fresher between cleanings. Compared with traditional bedding, it is made to be more absorbent and longer lasting, so full changes may be needed less often.
